To celebrate the 50th year of Salice, we have written 50th Vintage on our traditional label.

This symbol will remain also in the next years but, exclusively for the 2004 vintage, we have designed one thousand numbered bottles of 5 litres with handmade decorations.

These bottles are intended for our Italian and foreign best customers and are a tribute to my grandfather Piero and my father Salvatore, who created this wine and were among the main protagonists of the Doc denomination in the early 70’s.

Thanks to them this wine became famous all over the world and the Salice Salentino commune known in many countries.

Our creation, a work of art made of a thousand unique pieces, will honour, I am sure, the people who work with sacrifice and commitment to develop the potential of the autochthonous vine Negroamaro.
