Happy Easter with Leone De Castris wines
An honor that celebrates a journey built on passion, vision, and deep roots in the territory of our Winery: Piernicola Leone de Castris has received the Knight Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic honor, conferred by the President of the Republic upon the proposal of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
This significant honor – the highest among those provided by the Order of Merit of the Republic – recognizes not only a lifetime of work in the wine sector but also the contribution to promoting Puglia, its culture, and its excellences worldwide.
“It is a source of great satisfaction for me,” declared Piernicola Leone de Castris, “to receive this prestigious recognition for what has been achieved both in the entrepreneurial field, together with my collaborators, and in the public sphere within various trade associations. It also moves me to remember that my father was also awarded both the title of Knight Grand Cross and Knight of Labor.”
This appointment is also a symbol of family continuity and a testament to how dedication, combined with respect for one’s land, can leave a lasting mark on the social, economic, and cultural fabric of the country.
